Welcome to the podcast 'In this together'! Minella van Bergeijk, CEO of Tearfund Netherlands, talks to inspiring Christians around the world. As the coronavirus continues to spread, Tear is concerned for all people living in poverty, wherever they are in the world. We know they are the ones likely to be the most vulnerable if the outbreak hits their communities.

The COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on everyone, worldwide. We hear the stories about ill people around us, see how much pressure there is on the health sector and in some places we might even be in complete lockdown, which brings its own challenges. One thing is certain: in just a few weeks time our lives have completely changed. We can’t go on with the life we normally led and it feels like the world is on pause. Because the situation is so different in countries around the world, we do not only want to tell how we are coping with this crisis close to home, we also want to share the stories from around the globe. 

In our podcast In this together we will hear about the main challenges at this moment and what people from different countries foresee for the future. How is the situation in India, Syria, Uganda and Haiti?  But also: do we see signs of hope in this situation? We will talk about the differences and about similarities. We might even learn something from each other, what we can apply in the situation we are all in.
